A color-change finish defines Pop Mart's 'Color Change 404', where a web error code lends its name to a shift in the figure's coloring across the Hidden Forest Path collection. The piece stands roughly 10cm tall in PVC and ABS. Color-changing pigment responds to temperature or light rather than staying fixed, so the surface reads differently depending on conditions. That places the design's variable element in the paint rather than in the sculpt.
