Devin Booker's second signature sneaker is heading beyond the basketball court with a design inspired by space exploration. The Nike Book 2 'Moon Landing' transforms the Phoenix Suns star's latest silhouette into a tribute to the lunar surface, combining detailed crater graphics with subtle references to NASA's space missions.
The upcoming colorway also brings back memories of Nike's celebrated Air Max 90 'Moon Landing,' which introduced a similar lunar-inspired aesthetic. Although the resemblance is unmistakable, Nike has not officially confirmed a connection between the two releases.
Rather than using traditional color blocking, the Book 2 features an all-over moon surface print that stretches across the upper and continues onto the midsole. Different shades of grey recreate the appearance of craters, rocky formations, and uneven terrain, giving the sneaker a textured visual effect.

Lighter grey accents on the Swoosh and tongue provide contrast without interrupting the monochromatic design. Matching grey laces and a tongue stabilizer maintain the understated color palette, allowing the lunar graphics to remain the centerpiece.
A small but meaningful detail appears on the heel tab, where red and blue accents reference the striping associated with NASA spacesuits. The addition introduces a touch of color while reinforcing the sneaker's space exploration theme.
Underfoot, Nike moves away from the moon graphics with an icy blue translucent outsole. The contrasting finish adds a futuristic element to the design, completing one of the more unconventional colorways revealed for Booker's second signature model.
The 'Moon Landing' continues Nike's approach to blending performance basketball footwear with storytelling, bringing a familiar concept from its lifestyle sneaker history to the Book 2. The Nike Book 2 'Moon Landing' is expected to release December 10, 2026.
