J Balvin x Air Jordan 4 'Lemonade' Celebrates Colombia in Full Color

J Balvin has spent his Jordan Brand partnership translating his personality and Colombian heritage into some of the line’s most colorful collaborations. His next project takes that approach to the Air Jordan 4, transforming the silhouette through the colors and landscapes of his home country.

The J Balvin x Air Jordan 4 'Lemonade' draws inspiration from two distinctly Colombian sights: the sunsets surrounding Medellín and the vibrant scenery of Caño Cristales, the famous river known for its striking natural colors.

Rather than covering the sneaker in a uniform shade, the upper moves through different variations of yellow. Croc-textured leather adds another dimension to the design, giving the bright palette a more premium appearance while separating it from traditional Air Jordan 4 constructions.

Balvin’s Colombian identity also appears through smaller details. The dubraes feature “JUST DO IT.” alongside its Spanish counterpart, “SOLO HAZLO.”, bringing bilingual messaging directly into the sneaker.

The heels continue the asymmetrical approach seen throughout Balvin’s previous Jordan collaborations. Nike Air is debossed into the left heel, while his recognizable upside-down smiley face takes over the right, allowing both Jordan heritage and Balvin’s identity to share the design.

The sneaker has already appeared on one of the world’s biggest stages. Balvin wore the 'Lemonade' during his performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony, providing an early look at the collaboration ahead of its retail arrival.

'Lemonade' also represents the next step in a partnership that has already moved through the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 2, and Air Jordan 3. A separate multicolor Air Jordan 4 has also appeared during Balvin’s performances, though that version is currently considered a sample and is not expected to release.

The J Balvin x Air Jordan 4 'Lemonade' is expected to release September 25, 2026, and retail for $225 USD.
