Pokémon x Crocs Brings Pikachu and Gengar to the Classic Clog

Pokémon's 30th anniversary celebration is expanding into footwear, with two of the franchise's most recognizable characters taking over the Crocs Classic Clog. Pikachu and Gengar each receive their own character-inspired design as part of the upcoming Pokémon x Crocs collection, joining the previously revealed Poké Ball edition scheduled for later this year.

Rather than simply applying Pokémon graphics to standard Crocs, both pairs use the shape of the Classic Clog to bring their respective characters to life. Pikachu's pair transforms the clog into the face of the franchise's electric mascot. Bright yellow covers the shoe, with Pikachu's eyes, nose, mouth, and signature red cheeks spread across the toe.

Oversized ears extend toward the heel strap, giving the design a more three-dimensional appearance. White lightning graphics wrap around the midsole as a reference to Pikachu's electric abilities, while a black heel strap provides contrast against the otherwise yellow finish.

Gengar takes the collection in the opposite direction. Purple covers its Classic Clog, with the Ghost-type Pokémon's mischievous eyes and oversized grin integrated directly into the front of the shoe. Red detailing around the midsole adds another recognizable piece of Gengar's color palette, while additional character elements appear around the heel strap.

Together, the two designs highlight different sides of the Pokémon universe while keeping the playful character-driven approach that has defined many of Crocs' recent collaborations.

The collection also arrives during a major year for Pokémon. With the franchise celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026, Pikachu and Gengar add another footwear project to the growing lineup of anniversary releases.

The Pokémon x Crocs Classic Clog 'Pikachu' and 'Gengar' release November 16, 2026. Adult pairs will retail for $80 USD, with grade school sizing priced at $55 USD.
