Onitsuka Tiger launched the Mexico 66 in 1966 and developed it for the 1968 Mexico City Olympics, the design this TGRS reworks into a women's model with pump-like lines. 'Black Gunmetal' adds glitter to the curved Onitsuka Tiger Stripes, setting a metallic shimmer against the dark base. A gum rubber outsole sits beneath the low-profile upper. The glitter treatment sits only on the stripe overlays, so the shimmer follows the curve of the stripes across the sidewall.
