Suede and leather paneling gives the upper of this women's Nike Cortez a textured base beneath its printed pattern. A polka dot print breaks up those panels across 'Light Magenta' and 'Crimson' tones, the two pinks separating the dots from their ground. Nike's first running shoe launched in 1972, and the Cortez holds its low-cut shape and herringbone outsole from that release. Printing dots onto suede leaves each circle slightly softened at the edge where the nap takes the ink.
