Crystal gives this Pop Mart Labubu figure its surface, rendering the character in a clear faceted material rather than painted vinyl. Light passes into the form and refracts through the cut planes. Kasing Lung created Labubu in 2015 as an elf among THE MONSTERS, with tall pointed ears, wide eyes and nine pointed teeth set in a grin. The transparent treatment keeps that silhouette while removing the color from it.
