Skullpanda's Where Time Dwells series takes architecture as its subject, moving the character through the forms of different eras in stone-toned cream, grey, black and gold. 'Colonnade Contemplation' places the figure among columns, the pose turned inward. As a fridge magnet, the piece renders that design flat-backed with a magnet set behind the sculpted front face. Pop Mart renders the piece at a size suited to a flat metal surface rather than a shelf, and the magnet is recessed into the backing rather than adhered on top.
