Four stages structure Pop Mart's Skullpanda Petals in Four Acts, dressing the character for each in turn with floral elements worked into the costume. Xiong Miao created Skullpanda in 2018, giving the character a pale face rendered without a visible nose, which is what produces its flattened, mask-like read. The sculpts carry her elongated proportions and oversized head. Floral elements are worked into the costume rather than applied as surface print, so the petals stand clear of the body.
