Chapter VIII continues Pop Mart's numbered Skullpanda releases, each chapter giving the character a new costume direction. Xiong Miao introduced Skullpanda in 2018 with the heavy-lidded eyes and stylized headpiece that have stayed fixed since. The figure stands upright with the character's oversized head above an elongated body. Pop Mart molds the piece in vinyl, with the costume detail formed into the sculpt rather than printed.
