Labubu takes the junior staff position as 'Salon Apprentice' in this Pop Bean figure, one of the salon roles rather than one of the hairstyle designs. Vinyl keeps the character at palm size, the serrated teeth and tall pointed ears carried through from Kasing Lung's original Monsters sculpt. Pop Mart built The Monsters Hair Salon Series around a working salon's cast of staff and treatments. The apprentice handles the preparation work rather than the cutting.
