Fruit supplies the premise of this Pop Mart Hirono series, pairing the character with produce across its designs. Lang created Hirono in 2021, drawing him with cropped untidy hair, oversized vacant eyes and reddened cheeks that carry across every release. Pop Mart molds the figure in rigid plastic with a painted finish. Pairing a character defined by melancholy with something as plain as fruit is the contrast the series is built on.
