Paper receipts bury Hirono in 'Live Under Receipts', with the printed slips piled over and around the figure until they nearly submerge it. The accumulated paper is the costume and the setting at once, making the financial pressure literal rather than implied. Hirono's thin frame and reserved face stay as artist Lang established them. Pop Mart sculpts the receipt pile in the same PVC and ABS as the body, so the slips hold their folds.
