Hirono was created in 2021 by Chinese artist Lang, who traces the first drawings to 2020, made as his child was about to be born. The character is drawn with messy hair, oversized vacant eyes and oversized clothing. Road Journal frames its designs around travel, rendered here in plush rather than the vinyl Pop Mart uses across much of the Hirono range. The pendant hangs from a strap, and the box arrives sealed.
