The Nippon Made program assembles this Mexico 66 in Japan, holding to the shape Onitsuka Tiger drew in 1966. 'White Pink' keeps the leather upper white with pink filling the curved Tiger Stripes, the heel counter and the tongue trim. Those stripes were built into the lacing to improve stability and flexibility through the eyestay, a detail first introduced ahead of the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. A thin gum sole closes the low profile.
