Promotion packs in Bandai's One Piece Card Game distribute cards outside the numbered booster sets, usually through events, store campaigns or product bundles. 'Volume 8' names this installment within that promotional run. Japanese text runs on the card faces throughout the pack. Promo printings often carry alternate artwork for characters already in the main sets, which is what separates a promotion card from a booster pull of the same character.
