The Baltoro first appeared in 1990 as part of Nike's All Conditions Gear line, named after the Baltoro Glacier in the Karakoram. 'Black' runs the leather and textile upper in one tone across the whole boot. Nike cut this reissue slimmer and lower than the vintage original, taking the ankle-hugging collar down to a more compact height. The single black carries into the outsole, so the tread pattern reads by depth alone.
