Salehe Bembury's 'Fog Be The Cloud' works the New Balance 1000 in a gradient that runs teal through pink into bright orange across the upper. Suede, diamond-shaped mesh and patent leather divide that gradient between three different surfaces, so the same color reads matte on the suede and wet on the patent. A soft gray toe cap interrupts the sequence at the front. The midsole beneath carries a citrus orange, painted rather than molded in color.
