Arc'teryx laminates a Gore-Tex membrane into the upper of the Kopec 2 Low, an approach shoe rather than a runner. 'Black Black' runs the upper and the sole unit dark throughout. The Kopec is built for approach terrain rather than for running, with a stiffer platform and a climbing-oriented toe. A Vibram outsole supplies the rubber. The flat toe section lets the shoe edge on rock, which a running shoe's rounded profile would not allow.
