Nike's LD-1000 SP gives the 1977 long-distance runner an intentionally aged finish, tinting the midsole and foxing to look weathered from new. 'Pearl White' runs a soft pearl tone across the suede and mesh upper. The waffle outsole pattern derives from Bill Bowerman's original tread. The flared heel is narrower here than on the 1977 original, which was recalled over its width.
