adidas and Toy Story Return With New Collaboration

adidas and Pixar are bringing Toy Story 5 into sneaker culture with a new footwear collection inspired by some of the franchise’s most recognizable characters. The lineup transforms classic adidas silhouettes into playful designs tied directly to Woody, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear while blending nostalgia with modern lifestyle footwear.

Rather than relying only on printed graphics or oversized branding, adidas built each pair around visual details pulled directly from the characters’ outfits and personalities. The collection uses color blocking, textures, and smaller design references to make each sneaker immediately recognizable without feeling overly costume-like.

Jessie’s version arrives on the adidas Samba Jane, which leans heavily into Western-inspired styling. Cow-print details appear across the forefoot, referencing Jessie’s chaps, while denim-style Three Stripes and stitched accents further connect the design to her cowgirl look.

Woody’s adidas Samba continues the cowboy theme with denim-inspired materials, yellow-and-brown overlays, and red details that reference his signature bandana. Smaller additions like a belt buckle-inspired lace dubrae help reinforce the character influence throughout the design.

Buzz Lightyear’s pair shifts the collection into a more futuristic direction through the adidas Adistar Control 5. White mesh construction combines with green, purple, blue, and red accents pulled directly from Buzz’s Space Ranger suit. Metallic overlays and “LIGHTYEAR” branding complete the design, while the children’s version adds a light-up heel feature for an extra playful touch.

The collection continues adidas’ broader push toward nostalgic collaborations while introducing Toy Story-inspired designs through wearable everyday silhouettes instead of novelty-focused footwear.

The Disney Pixar x adidas Toy Story Collection is scheduled to release on June 6, 2026, in full family sizing.
