The first Yeezy Boost was born in 2009 as part of a collaboration between Adidas and the famous rapper Kanye West.
At the time, there was not much focus on it until 2015, when the first 350 series were released.
The hype and the exaggerated
Sneaker enthusiasts and resellers are camping out of stores overnight with the slim hope of getting a pair of Yeezy. Needless to say, resale prices have risen by more than a thousand.
Kanye also released a series of reflections, which once again inspired sneaker enthusiasts.
With the exaggeration behind the Jesuits, it is difficult to say whether they are good or bad and most importantly whether they are worth buying. Especially if the resale prices for some colorways are high!
In this article, we break down some of the key pointers of this sneaker and give my honest, unbiased opinion about it.

Features of Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2
Let’s start by breaking down some of the key features of this sneaker.
Upper
Like most Boost sneakers, the top is primarily made with Adidas’ signature Primenit technology, and we can’t be happier.
Primknit maintains a great balance on the top, warming your feet and allowing your toes to spin for a nice uncontrollable feeling.
Like the Adidas Ultra Boost, the breather is also amazing with good airflow due to the decent large holes in the Primkinit.
True to the 350 series, most colorways have a line diagonally across the sides. It adds contrast to the design, and the sneaker stands out even more!
Midsole
We have another one of Adidas’ signature technology, which is Boost. We love this. We have nothing but compliments on this wonderful Mitsui, except that it turns yellow over time (and then more).
The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 offers excellent response and bounce from its boost mitzvah, so walking / running on these is amazing. Support at mid-sole is also substantial, so you don’t feel like you’re sinking right in with every step.
As of now, Boost Mid-sole will turn yellow over time due to natural oxidation. Fortunately, none of these can be seen when these sneakers are placed on the foot. Here are the reasons!
Outsole
The usually visible BOOST (like Ultra Boost or NMT) is now all covered as rubber gum is wrapped around the mitzvah and outsole. So no amount of yellow can affect its appearance (this is the picture above) except that no one can see it.
If it still annoys you, get a white acrylic paint pen to whiten the yellow boost after a while. It’s as beautiful as Boost New! I use Angeles acrylic paints and I found them to be effective. The gum outsole provides excellent traction, giving a good grip on every step.
For those of you who have seen my review on the Adidas Ultra Boost 4.0, I complain about the thin outsole, which is less durable.
Fortunately, the gum outsole here solves this problem thicker and more durable. It will last a sneaker on the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2.
Gum Sole solves both the ugly yellow boost and the thin outsole! This is such a great addition!
Padding
Next, the sneaker collar is lined with firm padding, which gives the best mattress for your ankles and midsection. This undoubtedly brings comfort to the sneaker. The opening of the sneaker is also made wide, allowing these to slip easily without much difficulty. I slip them without the need to interfere with the laces!
Lacing
Lastly, the lacing is different from most boost sneakers in that it does not have a lace cage. Without the lace cage, the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 is simple and not identical to the Ultra Boost for me.
Functionally, we found that it has no impact on the sneaker, but it does give a cleaner look and allows for more style choices using different lacing methods. Who is going to complain about having more style choices?
Comfort
Comfort-wise, the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 is one of the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn.
As mentioned earlier, the padding lined up with the sneaker collar along with the soft midsole and insole gives you excellent cushioning and support. Not to mention the ankle that snapped nicely with the sneaker tongue and collar. In short, these give the overall amazing experience of wearing these sneakers.
Of course, getting the right dose is important to make sure your comfort is maximized (and then more)!
Style
This is where we get subjective. Some people love the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2, while others think it’s funny or ugly.
For us, this sneaker offers a unique and bold design that stands out from the rest. Colors like classic cream or black allow for Yeezy matching with a variety of outfits, making them versatile.
We like to pair them with joggers or jeans, but they work well with other outfits like Bermuda or fitness shorts!
Size
The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 may seem a bit big, but don’t be fooled by the fact that they run smaller. I went up to half the size for a nice comfortable fit, so I recommend this to you too if you have short legs for normal. For those of you with wide legs, going full size is still a great idea!
Cost
This sneaker sells for a reasonable price, which is already high end. Not to mention that these sneakers are often only available at resale prices.
We usually only review sneakers that can be purchased at retail or low prices, but the reason I am now talking about the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 is that prices have dropped this year.
Thanks to a large number of releases and restarts (courtesy of Kanye) resale prices have dropped to the point where you can almost get this product almost at retail price.

The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 is one of the most important sneakers in the sneaker game today.
On the one hand, it offers an overall comfortable fit and good style (at least for me) that fits my criteria of a fantastic everyday shoe.
For those of you who primarily want to get this for comfort instead of style, I recommend checking out other sneakers like the Adidas Ultra Boost as they are cheaper.
At a very low price, you can get a sneaker with more or less the same level of comfort, which is more suitable and useful for you.
