Off-White™ x Air Jordan 5 “Sail” Sneak Peek

2020 is the year Jordan Brand gets a “Sail” makeover, and it looks like everyone’s onboard with that. With the Air Jordan 4 release just around the corner, let’s preview what AJ5 is going to look like in the cream color!

First teased at April, Virgil Abloh’s take on Air Jordan 5 directly draws inspiration from the iconic “Fire Red” colorway. From images that surfaced online, a deconstructed aesthetic renews the original design.

A mix of cream colored synthetic textile and mesh materials builds the upper, where circular see-through windows scatter to give a conceptual look. As per usual, the “SHOELACES” notation is applied on the, well, shoelaces.

Now let’s don’t forget about what’s so special about the OG AJ3: the signature 23 lettering and Jumpman logo graces the upper in bright red. The same shade of red is echoed in the shape of shark teeth, which complements the black midsole. A two-toned outsole completes the design.
