Halloween has become an opportunity for Nike Basketball to experiment with some of its most unusual designs. This October, Ja Morant’s Nike Ja 4 joins the celebration with a zombie-inspired colorway that looks like it has survived something straight out of a horror movie.

Rather than relying on traditional Halloween graphics, Nike builds the theme directly into the sneaker’s materials. Distressed fabric, faded patterns, and worn-looking textures cover the upper, creating an intentionally weathered appearance that separates this release from the usual Ja 4 lineup.

The color palette reinforces the undead aesthetic. Oil Green and darker olive tones blend with grey and black throughout the upper, while matching green appears across the tongue, laces, and interior lining.

Bright Crimson provides a sharp contrast against the muted foundation. The oversized Swoosh and angular JA support element along the midsole feature vivid orange-red accents, giving the design a more aggressive appearance. Brown sections around the heel and opposite side add to the aged finish.

The Halloween details become even more noticeable in the dark. A glow-in-the-dark green outsole introduces a supernatural effect, while the insoles feature a colorful graphic of Ja Morant screaming, adding another playful reference to the zombie theme.

Despite its unconventional appearance, the sneaker maintains the recognizable shape and design language of Morant’s fourth signature model. The result combines Nike Basketball’s performance identity with the kind of seasonal storytelling that has become a familiar part of its Halloween releases.

The Nike Ja 4 'Halloween' releases October 23, 2026, through Nike and select retailers. Adult sizing will retail for $140 USD, while grade school pairs will cost $125 USD.
