Nike Caitlin 1 'Berry Fade' Brings Mismatched Color to Clark’s Signature

The Nike Caitlin 1 is continuing to show its range as Caitlin Clark builds out the first year of her signature line. Her latest on-court debut introduces the 'Berry Fade,' a vibrant Spring 2027 colorway that gives each shoe its own variation of the same palette.

Rather than mirroring one another exactly, the left and right shoes shift between different combinations of color. One side emphasizes hot coral and bright pink, while the other moves deeper into berry, plum, and purple around the forefoot and heel.

That asymmetry gives the 'Berry Fade' a noticeably different personality from the more uniform Caitlin 1 colorways revealed so far. The colors remain connected across the pair, but their placement creates the appearance of a gradual transition from warmer shades into darker berry tones.

A layered metallic Swoosh becomes another focal point along the lateral side. Silver mixes with pink, orange, and purple finishes, allowing the branding to change appearance depending on the angle.

Nike also adds texture across the upper with a pebbled-looking surface, while small circular elements continue onto the tongue. Together, the details bring another visual dimension to a colorway already built around shifting shades.

The inspiration behind the design has not been officially revealed. Its palette has drawn comparisons to Rain Berry, Clark’s favorite Gatorade flavor, but Nike has not confirmed any connection between the drink and the sneaker.

The Nike Caitlin 1 'Berry Fade' is expected to release in Spring 2027 and will retail for $140 USD.
