The New Balance 992 continues to prove why it remains a staple of the brand's Made in USA collection. For Fall/Winter 2026, the classic running silhouette receives a seasonal update with the 'Medusa Green' colorway, combining deep greens and rich browns for an understated autumn look.
Part of the latest Made in USA lineup, the release embraces the premium materials and layered construction that have helped establish the 992 as a favorite among lifestyle sneaker enthusiasts. Rather than introducing major design changes, New Balance focuses on color and texture to refresh the familiar silhouette.

Medusa Green mesh forms the foundation of the upper, complemented by tonal overlays and subtle teal stitching. The darker green shades create a cohesive appearance, while Thunder Brown suede wraps around the mudguard, side panels, and heel for a contrasting finish.
The earthy palette continues underneath, with brown extending across the midsole and outsole. White laces and collar lining introduce a cleaner contrast, while the signature “N” logos feature white outlines that stand out against the darker upper.

Traditional branding completes the design. Grey heel panels display the 992 designation, embroidered “USA” lettering appears at the rear, and New Balance branding decorates the tongue.
The release adds another versatile option to New Balance's Fall/Winter 2026 Made in USA collection, which continues to explore premium materials and seasonal colors across the brand's heritage running models.
The New Balance 992 'Medusa Green' is expected to release in late October 2026 through New Balance and select retailers for $200 USD.
