Yuto Horigome Brings Skateboarding to the Nike SB Air Force 1

Yuto Horigome is bringing his signature touch to one of Nike’s most recognizable sneakers. For his latest project with Nike SB, the Olympic skateboarder takes on the Air Force 1 Low, adapting the basketball-born classic for skateboarding.
The 'Iron Grey' edition keeps its appearance understated. Off-white leather forms much of the upper, complemented by grey mesh panels, matching Swooshes, and additional padding around the collar. A Coconut Milk midsole adds an aged finish beneath the neutral construction.

What separates the collaboration is found in the smaller details. Traditional “AIR” branding remains along the lateral midsole, while “YUTO” is molded into the medial side. Horigome’s feather logo appears on the heel and insoles, further tying the design to his growing Nike SB catalog.
Co-branded tongue tags combine Nike SB and Yuto Horigome graphics, while a “7” motif appears on the heel tab alongside a miniature red Swoosh. That flash of red provides one of the few bright contrasts against the otherwise muted palette.
More importantly, this isn’t simply a standard Air Force 1 with collaborative branding. Nike SB has adjusted the construction with skateboarding in mind, including changes intended to improve board feel and additional collar padding for comfort.

The 'Iron Grey' will arrive ahead of Horigome’s second Air Force 1 project, the upcoming 'Laser' colorway. That pair is rumored to be significantly more limited, with only 1,000 pairs expected.
Following his previous work with Nike SB, the Air Force 1 gives Horigome another opportunity to put his identity on an established Nike silhouette while keeping the sneaker connected to the performance demands of skateboarding. The Yuto Horigome x Nike SB Air Force 1 'Iron Grey' releases September 12, 2026, and will retail for $125 USD.
