Nike continues to experiment with one of its most iconic runners, introducing a fresh take on the Nike Air Max 95 through the upcoming Woven 'Multi-Color' edition. As the silhouette evolves beyond its traditional design, this version leans into texture and color to deliver something distinctly modern.

Originally conceptualized by Sergio Lozano, the Air Max 95 has always stood out for its layered upper. This iteration flips that signature look by replacing the familiar gradient panels with a woven construction inspired by the Nike Air Footscape. Extended lace loops integrate directly into the upper, threading through overlapping sections to create a more intricate and dimensional design.

The 2026 update refines the concept with a stronger balance of color and material. Neutral grey suede forms the base, allowing vibrant woven strips in yellow, pink, orange, and green to stand out across the upper. Additional hits of color appear on the tongue branding and insoles, while deep purple accents on the Swoosh and visible Air unit bring the entire palette together.

While experimental versions of the Air Max 95 have historically divided opinion, the Woven approach has proven to resonate more with consumers. By blending a familiar silhouette with a lifestyle-driven redesign, Nike continues to push the model into new territory without losing its identity. The Nike Air Max 95 Woven 'Multi-Color' is expected to release in Summer 2026, likely arriving between April and June.
