Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro 'Dynamic Yellow' Channels Vibrant Lakers Colors

Nike’s transformation of the Kobe 3 continues into Holiday 2026 with a new 'Dynamic Yellow' colorway that brings one of Kobe Bryant’s most recognizable color combinations to the redesigned silhouette.

Unlike a conventional Protro, the Kobe 3 Low represents a more substantial reinterpretation of the original. Nike took the high-cut Kobe 3 from 2007 and rebuilt its distinctive design as a modern low-top, creating a new version rather than simply updating the performance technology inside the original shape.

The 'Dynamic Yellow' edition gives that new construction an unmistakable Lakers feel. Yellow dominates nearly the entire upper, allowing the Kobe 3’s geometric structure to remain the visual focus of the sneaker.

Field Purple provides the contrast, appearing across the laces, tongue branding, Swoosh, and portions of the midsole. Together, the two shades create a familiar Los Angeles-inspired combination closely associated with Bryant’s career.

The colorway will join an expanding lineup that has quickly established the Kobe 3 Low as its own chapter within the Protro series. The 'Warning Label' introduced the silhouette at retail, followed by editions including 'Atomic Pink,' 'Electric Green,' and the more understated 'Pure Platinum.'

Rather than relying entirely on recreations of Kobe’s original colorways, Nike has used the low-top conversion to explore new palettes and give the 2007 design a separate identity for a new generation.

The Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro 'Dynamic Yellow' is expected to release during Holiday 2026, with October or November currently rumored as the launch window. The sneaker will retail for $190 USD.
