Nike KD 6 'Night Vision' Returns in June

Nike is continuing the revival of Kevin Durant’s earlier signature line with the return of the Nike KD 6 'Night Vision.' As part of the KD 6’s first full retro run, one of the model’s most recognizable colorways is returning more than a decade after its original release.

Originally introduced in 2014, the 'Night Vision' edition stood apart from many of Durant’s other releases because of its military-inspired concept and darker visual approach. Rather than relying on bright storytelling themes, Nike built the design around tactical night-vision equipment and digital overlays associated with infrared imaging.

A black upper forms the foundation of the sneaker, while vivid green details introduce contrast across the design. Pixelated speckling appears throughout portions of the upper and midsole, referencing the visual distortion often associated with night-vision technology. Nike also extends the theme through a pixelated Swoosh and KD branding near the heel, giving the sneaker additional digital-inspired details.

Bright Mango accents break up the darker palette around the visible Air unit, creating a stronger visual contrast. Rounded utility-inspired laces complete the look and further reinforce the tactical influence behind the colorway.

Although the pair did not initially receive the same attention as some other KD releases at launch, it gradually developed a stronger following among Durant fans. As the KD line evolved, the 'Night Vision' became one of the more memorable entries from the KD 6 era and eventually established itself as a fan favorite within the series.

The Nike KD 6 'Night Vision' is scheduled to release on June 19, 2026, for $135 USD.
