Nike Brings Yu-Gi-Oh! to Life with Special-Edition Air Max 95

Nike is channeling the legacy of Yu-Gi-Oh! with the Air Max 95 QS YGO, a special edition sneaker inspired by the footwear worn by Joey Wheeler in the classic anime series. More than two and a half decades after the series first captured fans’ imaginations, Nike has brought the iconic silhouette to life for the first time, meticulously replicating the original design while adding modern updates. The collaboration extends beyond footwear, including a complementary apparel collection and a campaign featuring the anime’s original English and Japanese voice actors. Both the global 'Joey' colorway and the Japan-exclusive 'Jonouchi' colorway arrive September 12, accompanied by exclusive packaging and playable Nike x Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Cards.

The Air Max 95 QS YGO celebrates Joey’s underdog journey and the crossover between anime and sneaker culture. The 'Joey' colorway features shades of blue, signature paneling, scratch marks, and a hidden lateral forefoot Air unit, along with graphics referencing the Yu-Gi-Oh! universe, including Joey and his Red-Eyes Black Dragon monster. The Japan-exclusive 'Jonouchi' colorway mirrors the grayscale beginnings of the series.
