Jordan Brand Blends Football and Heritage With Tiempo Maestro

Jordan Brand is continuing its push into global football with the upcoming Jordan Tiempo Maestro Elite FG 'Sail/Infrared 23.' The latest release merges performance-focused football construction with design elements pulled directly from Jordan Brand’s most recognizable sneaker heritage.

The boot arrives in a soft Sail-colored TECHLEATHER upper designed to enhance touch and control on the pitch. Tonal elephant print texturing appears across the forefoot and side panels, giving the silhouette a clear visual connection to classic Air Jordan models without overpowering the cleaner football-focused shape.

Infrared 23 accents provide the strongest contrast throughout the design. Jumpman branding lands prominently along the lateral side, while red insoles featuring “Transcend The Game” graphics continue tying the release back to Jordan Brand’s basketball roots. Additional Jordan logos appear on the heel tab, tongue, and outsole.

Underfoot, the Maestro360 plate setup is built specifically for firm-ground play, offering flexibility and traction suited for quick directional movement. A translucent outsole with subtle iridescent detailing also adds a more modern visual finish beneath the otherwise understated upper.

The release arrives as Jordan Brand continues expanding its football presence ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Rather than creating entirely separate visual language for the sport, the brand has increasingly leaned on recognizable Air Jordan details to bridge basketball heritage with modern football performance.

The Jordan Tiempo Maestro Elite FG is scheduled to release on May 18, 2026.
