Awake NY Reveals Two Air Jordan 6 Releases for 2026

Awake NY and Jordan Brand are continuing their partnership with a new two-pair take on the Air Jordan 6. Following the strong response to Awake NY’s Air Jordan 5 collaboration, the New York label is now shifting its attention toward another iconic silhouette tied closely to Michael Jordan’s early championship era.

The upcoming pack includes two distinct colorways: 'Midnight Navy' and 'Playful Pink.' While both pairs share similar construction details and branding elements, each approaches the Air Jordan 6 with a completely different mood and palette.

The 'Midnight Navy' version leans into layered blue tones across the upper. Dark navy shades wrap around the collar and heel, while lighter blue sections spread across the overlays and lace area. Infrared accents break through the cooler palette, adding contrast inspired by classic Jordan color blocking from the early 1990s.

By comparison, the 'Playful Pink' edition takes a much louder approach. Bright pink tones dominate the upper, while black and Infrared detailing help connect it visually to the navy pair. Awake NY’s signature “A” logo appears prominently along the side panel, reinforcing the collaboration without overpowering the original shape of the silhouette.

Both sneakers feature textured paneling, translucent tongue details, visible Air cushioning, black midsoles, and icy translucent outsoles. Infrared speckled accents and collaborative hangtags add another layer of detail, giving the collection a more premium and collectible feel.

The release also arrives at an important moment for the Air Jordan 6 itself. As the silhouette approaches its 35th anniversary, collaborations like this continue helping bridge its basketball heritage with modern streetwear culture.
